We are a food-loving trio bringing tasty, original food to South East London.
Founded on a love Japanese comfort food we specialise in karaage chicken - chicken marinated in loveliness & twice-fried so it's deliciously crispy - we bring a taste of Japan with an unmistakable soul food twist.
Our karaage love was borne out of a hankering for fried chicken and consolidated during a trip to Japan (as well as being fattenedup by my sister-in-law's amazing food). We haven't looked back - and neither will you.
We only use free-range meat and we serve food we love to eat.

What a fabulous evening…wonderful hosts, great company and the most divine food. Right from the off we were in for a treat, with a lovely cocktail, followed by just the right number of courses…and all within walking distance of home! I think we'll be going again!

Keep meaning to add my tuppenceworth here in praise of Fowl Mouths and their addictive karaage chicken. Appeals to both the discerning and the greedy. Good company, charming hosts. Thoroughly recommended.
Amazing evening

It was our first supper club experience... the first of many I hope. Food was delicious and original: grilled gyoza in a miso soup was a lovely twist. Signature Kara-age chicken dish was as good as I've tasted (and I've eaten a lot of fried chicken). Great house cocktail, delightful company from the other guests (and of course the hosts). I could go on and on. Just book in!

My friend and I had such a warm, friendly, tasty evening!
The hosts were so welcoming without being overbearing, the other guests were like-minded and the food was exceptional.
We were blown away by every course. Being a fan of dumplings these steamed bundles were a joy, the ribs fell off the bone, the tradmark chicken karaage was moreish and served generously, and the pudding was amazing. Literally an explosion of chocolate.
My friend's known for her fussy eating...and she went away full and wearing a smile!
For those whose assume Japaense always equals fish give this a try.
Amazing food in a lovely home with great company

Thank you to the Fowl Mouths Supper Club for such a wonderful evening. You were brilliant hosts and you really did think of everything, like putting out ice buckets for our BYO wine. The cheeky cocktail on arrival went down a treat too.
I've eaten out at a few restaurants and been disappointed that the food hasn't matched the description on the menu but each course at the supper club was a delight. My only disappointment was that I didn't have room to eat it all....x

The Fowl Mouths team host this supper club from their lovely home in South London. We had a friendly welcome with a great little cocktail, while we popped out BYO bottles in the ice buckets.
The food was awesome - spicy edamame, delicious gzoza, then melt in the mouth ribs then the star act - the karaage chicken served with rice and coleslaw, then a gooey chocolatey Japanese desert with unusual macha icecream.
The team are super friendly and clearly passionate about the food they serve. Probably best to go with a friend as it's small - there were probably about 20 of us in total.
A great evening.

Karage chicken, pork gyoza, wasabi slaw, sesame ball chocolate and green tea ice cream, slow cooked ribs. Cocktails and sake. Relaxed, casual atmosphere. Food was excellent. Value tremendous. Company eclectic and fun. Bring on the pop-up for a bigger audience, because I think these little suppers are going to be over-subscribed pretty soon.
