Split pea chilli poppers
(Sold by street vendors in Mauritius, balls of split pea, chilli & coriander, fried and eaten with satini's)
(Seasoned chickpea flour coated aubergine slices, fried till crisp)
Pineapple, Mint & Chilli Salad ( A refreshing sweet yet spiced salad, inspired by eating pineapples laced with chilli on the beaches of Mauritius)
Vibrant Green Coriander Satini & Chutney
Mini Puri Roll (Chana Puri)
Mini Puri's served with spiced chickpea curry, coriander chutney & Vegetable achar (crunchy spiced mustard pickled vegetables)
Daube de Poulet
A chilli, garlic spiced & rich tomato based chicken creole curry, popular in most Mauritian households, the ultimate comfort food!
Prawns et Vanille
A French/Mauritian inspired dish, juicy prawns are infused with Madagascan/Reunion Island Bourbon vanilla spices, coconut & cream
Green Banana Curry
A comforting Mauritian spiced curry using green bananas, traditionally used like potatoes in Mauritius, a perfect Vegetarian dish.
A pickled fish dish, normally served chilled in addition to your main, spiced with mustard seeds
Garlic & Ginger sauteed pieces of okra, a perfect accompaniment to the meal
Spice infused rice, with cardamon & cinnamon
Two Mauritian inspired desserts:
One with decadent fruity flavours from this exotic island..the other a traditional creamy Mauritian pudding
