Beach to Balham Mauritian Pop Up!

An evening of sunshine fusion cuisine to transport you to the beaches of Mauritius from Balham. So come join us for a tropical evening, with some sega music in the background to the set the mood, delicious punch, authentic Mauritian food and decadent desserts! Hope to see you there!

Somewhat disappointing

We went with high hopes being great fans of Selina's food at a distance (Masterchef). I'm afraid we were disappointed. The staff were very flat, delivering and removing plates but with no zest, no explanations of what they were delivering, no enquiries about what we thought of it.

It was also disappointing that Shelina didn't come round and say hello and welcome. I know she was busy cooking but it would have added something.

We both thought the food was lacking something (the Mauritian guy next to me said too little salt) and I'm afraid that with the exception of the dessert and granita nothing delivered a Wow!
