(A Seafood DELIGHT from the exotic island of Mauritius)

A melody of seafood flavours, both traitional and authentic to Mauritian ways of cooking seafood dishes.

When on the island, you can just go to the sea, freshly get your produce and cook it up there and then on the beach if you wish!

These recipes hail from generations of recipes, from my family to what you expect behind closed doors of the locals in Mauritius. At family dinners and alike...

We want to showcase a few of our favourites, expect a Yummy Choo Supperclub fave of Fish Vindaye, beautiful fresh fish, shellfish and some vegetarian dishes to pep it up, this will leave you wanting to go to Mauritius!

Starter:
Fish Vindaye (our guest's favourite!) Fresh fish in mustard seed spices, served cold with onion and green chilli
Fresh Bread Rolls (for your vindaye! a real street food way of eating this! AND delicious!)
Salt Cod Fritters
Dips & Satini's

Main:
Poisson Cari - Fish, mixed with Mauritian spices in a traditional curry
Octopus Salad
King Prawn Rougaille/Bouillon- a spicy tomato based sauce, popular to Mauritian cuisine
Vegetables & Fragrant Rice
Satinis/Pickles

Suprise Dessert & Chai

Time: 7.00pm
Venue: A private residence in Croydon, Surrey
Tickets: £32 and is a BYOB evening.

Please email Selina at yummychooeats@gmail.com for dietary requirements before booking so we can make sure we can accomodate these!
