Join us on Valentine's weekend for an evening of African cocktails, food, music and dancing.

There will be a five course meal and a complimentary cocktail on arrival.

Menu details will be sent to you a week before the event. You can contact us for any special dietary requirements when you book.

Come and enjoy this evening with people who share the same passion of celebrating the continent's old and new food and music together !

The Menu:


Bushman Mojito – a mojito with Rooibos syrup



Sizzling Boerewors meatballs and onion salad on a bed of rocket salad and apple drizzled with balsamic vinegar


Kelewele with red red – a slow cooked bean stew in a spicy sauce with sweet fried plantain (V)


Nhopi soup - Pumpkin and peanut butter served with homemade Ghanaian sweet bread croutons (V)



Palate Cleanser

Watermelon salad with a toasted sesame dressing and sesame seeds (V)


Main dish

Whole grilled sea bream fish with a tangy Yassa onion sauce, aromatic rice and fried plantain 


Spinach and Egusi stew – spinach leaves in a light spicy egusi (ground melon seed) stew served  with plantain and aromatic rice (V)




Baked plantain in a light caramel sauce with vanilla ice cream and pistachio nuts 


Hibiscus and mango sorbet

Bring your own alcoholic drinks; there will be a free cocktail on arrival and a homemade African drink on the table. We can keep the drinks chilled for you.
