Comfort food classics from the American South get a Malaysian makeover at a Clerkenwell pop-up celebrating the 10th anniversary of award-winning blog, tikichris.

The occasion invites guests to go Deep South and Far East for a shiok-er of a meal seeing popular Malaysian Home Cooking supper club host, Vi Vian Woo, team up with blogger Chris Osburn to stage a one-off feast fusing the fiery sophistication of Malaysian cuisine with the indulgent traditions of the American South.

A multicultural mouthful of broad appeal and mega proportion, the exclusive one-night-only dinner will take place at New Orleans themed bar and grill, Ninth Ward, near Farringdon Station.

Vi Vian, Chris and the staff at the bar will receive each guest with a complimentary Bourbon cocktail before presenting their sumptuous feast, served family style at long communal tables in Ninth Ward's atmospheric dining room featuring reclaimed wood, repurposed industrial fittings, and an eclectic collection of voodoo accoutrements.
