Once again, Cyrus and Pervin Todiwala of Cafe Spice Namaste in association with EastendHomes are delighted to host an evening to raise funds for Capital Growth, the groundbreaking campaign to support 2,012 new community food growing spaces by the end of 2012.

Money raised on the evening will support Capital Growth community food growing spaces across London in 2013 and local schools working closely with Cyrus to grow their own delicious produce.

The event will start off with a drinks reception followed by a four-course dinner prepared by Cyrus, with a little help from his great friend Antonio Carluccio and matched with wonderful Bordeaux wines.

Join us on the night and help us with the final push to reach 2,102 in 2012!

What a treat to meet so many interesting and committed individuals with a passion for local food growing. The food was delightful, really inspirational and a chance to reflect on and celebrate what has already been achieved.

This event was a real treat. I have to say that as a vegetarian I am always a little bit trepidatious about going out for meals. You would be surprised how many times you get told 'Of course its vegetarian, we just added some ham to give it flavour'. the response to this is simple, don't eat the stuff.
however what is worse is when someone has cooked a 'vegetarian alternative' which is usually a shelly Omelette or a leathery Lasagne. to have to eat something like this at pleasantly swanky fundraiser would be a challenge. I need not have worried. all the food was fresh and tasty and imaginative and beautiful, the company enchanting and the whole experience a delight. i recommend this to anyone looking to support a good cause and have a great time doing it.

What a lovely evening I had here, the food was superb! I thought I knew about Indian food but what a surprise I had here. The food was fresh, exciting and innovative and I was totally amazed as it was completely different to the Inian food I was expecting and normally used to. The atmosphere was buzzing and the evening was the most enjoyable I have had for a long while, I cannot wait for the collaboration with Antonio Carllucio and am looking forward to another lovely evening.

Last year's event was an absolute cracker. The host chef, Cyrus Todiwala, joins diners between courses with stories and anecdotes that really added to the buzz. This year he's joined by guest chef Antonio Carluccio so the between food banter will be great I'm sure. The food was marvellous - fine dining, a million light years away from the indian food I'm used to, delicate and sensitively spiced. The restaurant has a nice dining room and from the drinks reception and canapes to the final course the evening was excellent.

I helped promote the event and had a real sense of responsibility that everyone enjoyed themselves so I was chuffed with the feedback and that people enjoyed the event. It's also raising money for Capital Growth who have done such great things in London. Enjoy!
