Founded by Rosalind Rathouse, a cook with over 40 years of teaching experience, Cookery School is based on solid teaching principles with a straightforward, hands-on approach. The school is committed to sustainability, quality ingredients, delicious flavoursome food, and most of all, fun.
Food lovers can pick from a wide array of short day or evening classes, or longer foundation courses from absolute beginner to the more advanced. The school also runs corporate cookery events, cooking parties and private classes on request.
Cookery School's approach to food is simple, modern and imaginative. The atmosphere is fun and informal. The school provides the skills necessary to become a confident and independent cook and all the classes and courses have a very high proportion of hands on practice.
