Rahima has been immersed in cooking since before she sprouted her first tooth, learning from her uber talented Granmama whilst growing up in tropical Kenya, followed  by intensive lessons once she was old enough to get near a hot stove growing up in the frozen Canadian prairies (yes it’s really that cold!)  She increased her repertoire (& her language skills) whilst spending an entire year in Sardegna and has since grown as a chef, having done a couple of stages (that’s internships to you!) in Michelin Star restaurants in London this summer.   Rahima has taken cooking classes around the world from Mama Marongiu in Sardegna to private lessons from Marcus Verberne, Head Chef at Roast in Borough Market to Le Cordon Bleu in the city of love, Paris, and even learned presentation from Jason Atherton, the culinary wizard behind Pollen Street Social, Little Social & newly opened Berners Tavern, who has also trained with Ferran Adria from El Bulli!

In addition to her fabulous cooking skills, Rahima is also a fabulous host, having previously run a private network for Expats, hosting exclusive events around some of London's trendiest venues, from exclusive cocktails & mixology evenings to private tours at the V&A & National Art Gallery to wine & cheese tastings.

This was my firet ever supper club and I'm really glad that I got to have it with Rahima. Not only was she an amazing cook (the food was incredible and I could go into detail about each of the four courses and the many different dishes of the main course), but she was the friendliest host!

I'll stop waxing lyrical and say that everyone should have the opportunity to ahve a meal with a great view, the nicest host, with some cassava, fish, curried corn, lychee panna cotta....
