The penultimate night at Supperclub Summit will showcase some of the UK's best emerging cheffing talent. Representatives of Squad UK for WorldSkills Leipzig 2013 and former WorldSkills Team UK Medal Winners will be hosting a one-off Supperclub, serving up classy, seasonal food the relaxed atmosphere of the Supperclub Sumit.
Sounds impressive, but what does this mean?!
Well, a team of our finest young kitchen talent want to show off the skills that over the last few years have won them major medals at the biannual WorldSkills Competition, which sees around 1000 young people aged 18 - 23 from across the world come together to compete for medals in more than 40 different skills.
Putting it simply, this Supperclub event is a one-off opportunity for supporters and foodies to sample food cooked and prepared by award winning young chefs, in a relaxed atmosphere.
The WorldSkills UK Cooking crew include Adam Smith, World Skills Calgary 2009 gold medallist, sous chef at the Ritz and the current Roux Scholar, and Ben Murphy, junior chef at Koffmans and WorldSkills London 2011 gold medalist. Current Squad UK members members on the team include Andre Rhone, Danny Hoang and Louisa May Matthews. The dessert team includes Alistair Birt, WorldSkills Calgary 2009 Medallion for Excellence Winner, and current Squad UK members Annabelle Wilson and Stephen Smith.
This promises to be an awesome night for food fans. It could well end up being your first taste of grouse for the 2012 season.
