You will learn to prepare Tonkatsu and one of my popular dishes slow-cooked pork with tea. You will learn how to make sauces, use Japanese ingredients and spices, soups, steamed Japanese rice or parhaps noodles. In addition, Yuki will teach you side dishes and salads.
By the end of the lesson you will understand how to use seasonal vegetables in Japanese cooking and combine their flavours. Yuki will also recommend Japanese grocery stores and give some tips for shopping there. There will be a chance to learn more about table setting and Japanese food culture during the meal. Some food can be taken home.
