Eat Noodles Love Noodles: Ramen Class @ Yuki's Kitchen

Good, better, best

Rating: 10

richard1985 attended Yuki's Japanese Summer Home Cooking in June 2012, reviewed on 23 June 2012

This is not going to be a nuanced review worth reading closely; I have nothing but positives to convey regarding Yuki's supperclub.

The food was utterly delicious, the main ingredients subtly flavoured and paired with bold, assertive accompaniments. And the skill and insight involved in the dishes' preparation were such that I'd not taste their like outside of a high-end restaurant.

Not only was the food very good, there was quite a bit of it. The food was quite light (it was an delightfully seasonal summer menu), but the courses were substantial, and everyone was entirely sated by the end of the meal.

Yuki and Alex were charming hosts, and pulled off a smooth dinner experience, and last but not least, my fellow diners were most certainly a pleasant bunch.

I'll most definitely be back for the Autumn menu.
