Soothe Suppers bring you utterly delicious, seasonal, modern British food that just happens to be gluten free (and low FODMAP). Served up in our South London home, we’re right in the heart of the explosion in the food scene in the area, celebrating all the beautiful fresh produce available and absorbing the huge range of influences from all around the world- the essence of modern British cooking.
We’ll treat you to an indulgent, nutritious and creative three course meal (plus some added surprises along the way) and a welcome aperitif. But whilst the food will be mouth-watering, equally important is that we’ll do all we can to make sure you to relax and have a memorable, enjoyable experience.
We’re founded on the principal of inclusive eating for everyone and so we can cater for vegetarian and vegan diets, and will do our best to cater for any food intolerance or allergy you have- just give us warning and we’ll whip you up something good.
The menu for August makes the most of what's in season, with loads of soothing nutritious ingredients to leave you smiling inside and out:
- Welcome drink & canapé
- Crab cakes with watercress & sorrel
- Pork belly (or salmon) with celeriac and courgette bread
- Citrus rice cake with raspberries

Great Atmosphere, Great Food

A great evening! This was our first ever supper club; we were a group of 4 and although we all loved the concept of a supper club there was always the questions of: will it be a little awkward? And with 1 or 2 gluten-lovers in the group, it was a concern that the food might not be to their liking. But we needn't have worried. The amazing chef and hostess, Emma, is very welcoming and laid back which sets a great atmosphere. With drinks on arrival you have time to meet the other diners (all of which were very nice!) before sitting down at the table - time enough to see their sweet little garden as well. The food was really delicious. The menu had been thought through very well; the dishes were very fresh, creative and healthy (some of the ideas I will definitely be stealing for my own kitchen) and with decent portion sizes we all left feeling very satisfied, but not heavy, thanks to the nature of the ingredients. I would definitely recommend!

I had never been to a supper club before and although the food through Soothe Food is aimed at people with stomach problems or dietary requirements you don't have to have one of these issues to attend. I went as I wanted to experience new foods and meet new people and I wasn't disappointed. Emma is such a friendly, warm host and makes incredibly, tasty food ALL from scratch and some vegetables/herbs she grows in her own garden. I went on my own and although most people were in couples I never felt left out, everyone was friendly and welcoming and I got on with a couple so well we have swapped numbers and I hope to meet with them again soon or at least at the next supper club! As I said the food was delicious (very generous portions and extra home made bread offered, yum!), all presented very professionally and with the extra touches of a cocktail and canapés on arrival, along with a beautifully decorated table with fresh herbs, cucumber water and candles, made it a very warm, relaxed, fun evening. I definitely recommend and look forward to the next one!

I have attended a number of super clubs, but prior to attending Soothe Food, never one that’s primary aim is to cater for food intolerance. Whilst I’ll admit that I was hesitate as to what a menu catering to FODMAP might entail, my concern were completely unjustified. I would never have realised that this was a specialist menu as from the canapés to pudding every item was beautifully presented and, most importantly, incredibly tasty!
I look forward to visiting again and I would certainly recommend Soothe Food as a supper club to attend, whether you have FODMAP dietary requirements or not!

Where to start?! The food was delicious, varied and fantastically well-presented alongside beautiful menus detailing why each ingredient was selected, which local supplier had been used to source the food, and the potential health benefits. Our gracious hostess Emma was always on hand to answer fodmap questions & provide extra information on all the delicious cuisine. The elderflower fizz was a great start to help people get to know each other and the time between courses was well-judged with everyone chatting away. Healthy, naturally flavoured water on the table was a lovely touch as was the peppermint tea to finish (made from fresh garden mint). The attention to detail lasted throughout all courses of this absolute feast and I will be re-booking again in the very near future!
