Event Photo

We are sisters born and bred in London, with Burmese and Chinese roots. We have run successful popups in Soho, Walthamstow and Stratford.

We want to share the delights of the food of Burma with as many people as possible! It is unique, varied and shows influences from its neighbours (Thailand, India, China). Our Burmese food is traditional, the dishes we grew up enjoying with our family. We are thrilled to be hosting another supperclub event at the lovely Tina We Salute You in the Olympic Park. Easily accessible from Stratford/Stratford International stations (Jubilee, Central, DLR, National Rail, Overground plus 7 minute high speed train from St. Pancras!)

Menu to be finalised but will include

Mohinga - fish and lemongrass broth with rice noodles and multitude of condiments. The national dish of Myanmar!

***
Chet thar hin - fragrant chicken curry

Balachaung - shrimp, chilli, garlic condiment

Khayan thi thoke - smoked aubergine salad

Steamed rice

(Egg tamarind curry for vegetarians)

***

Lahpet Thoke - pickled tea leaf salad

***

Mango Lime Cheesecake

Plus Burmese treat

Please note dishes may contain nuts.

It was the first event I had been to hosted by the Rangoon SIsters and what a delight! Everthing was slick from arrival to departure and the service was professional but relaxed. Most importantly the food was unbelievable. Every dish was a true delight and I could not reccommend them highly enough and the experience was great value for money. Thank you and will see you at the next event!!!

Ideas to make it even better: play music from Myanmar and tell us a little about the food.
