hosted by The Lazy Baker
I am delighted to be taking part in Action Against Hunger's 2012 SupperClub campaign. Lots of supperclubers across the city are teaming up to raise funds for this fantastic charity, and return for your donation, I promise to feed you some of the most delicious food!
Irish Soda bread is going to take centre stage, but not as you would imagine it! Expect 4-5 tasting courses of unexpected, surprising and mouth watering dishes. Sometimes bread will take centre stage. Like in the form of Lapsang Souchong smoked beetroot and tarragon mascarpone wafer thin brown bread sandwiches.
Or maybe herb marinated chargrilled poussin stuffed with chorizo and garlic bread crumbs, with parsley and lemon salsa?
Or how about some brown bread and brandy ice cream cones to top it all off? Brown bread ice cream is a long standing Irish traditional dessert and is out of this world delicious. The addition of brandy only serves to make it even tastier!
The evening is all about the unexpected!
Guests who attend at least 3 Supperclubs during the campaign will be entered into a prize draw for a fabulous foodie experience. Stand a chance to win any of these wonderful prizes:
A Delicious Hamper of Unearthed goodies
3-hour Asian Cookery Masterclass for 2 at School of Wok,
“Sausage-Wrangling” Course for 2 at The Butchery Ltd. Learn how to make your own sausages and find out why they taste so good!
Look forward to seeing you!
