For one afternoon only, Darjeeling Express takes over the private dining room at Cinnamon Club for a very special “daawat” (feast). Indulge in a banquet of royal recipes from the palaces of Hyderabad, Bhopal and Awadh where you will share several platters of traditional Indian food with a select group of guests. Lalani & Co will be presenting a tea flight of some of their finest teas from their collection over the course of the lunch Spaces are extremely limited.

Lasun Jhinga (Garlic Prawns)




Khare Masale Ka Gosht (Lamb with whole spices)

Bhopali Achar Chicken (A dish which originated in the Palace of Bhopal- a unique dish using panch poran the five seed spice of Bengal with a more traditional yogurt base to cook chicken)

Shikampuri Kabab (Minced lamb kabab with a stuffing of yogurt, chopped mint leaves and green chillies)

Verki Paratha (A layered tawa fried bread)

Caicutta style Murgh Biryani (Dum cooked chicken Biryani)

Hyderabadi Mirchi Ka salaan (A Chilli and onion dish with ground nuts and coconut)

Kheera Raita (Cucumber Raita)

Hyderabadi Tamatar ka Cut (A slow cooked tomato base with boiled eggs)


Sheer Korma (A vermicelli, dried dates and nut based milk dessert)

Shahi Tukra (The best bread butter kind of pudding in the world- soaked in saffron!)
