Come and join us on a journey of discovery. Savour the healing and warming spices from India. Panch poran from Bengal (the five seed mixture of nigella, fennel, black mustard seed, fenugreek and cumin). Whole garam masals in the Lamb Khare Masale ka gosht. Anti-bacterial and immune boosting turmeric in the Prawn Malai Curry. Whole cumin seeds in the Tangy Hyderabadi Dal, Himalayan pink rock salt in the fruit chaat, ground cardamom in the shrikhand and the most expensive spice in the world- saffron in the pulao. 

MENU

STARTER

*Calcutta Chicken Kati Roll-A paratha wrap with a layer of egg, thinly sliced red onions and kabab doused with lemon juice and spices

Veg option: Kala Channa Kofta Roll

*Paneer ka samosa with lal mirch chutney- Paneer samosa with spicy red chilli chutney

*Puchkas/Pani Puri- Classic street food from Calcutta- pani puri wheat/semolina shells stuffed with potatoes and chickpeas filled with spicy tamarind water


MAIN COURSE
*Prawn Malaikar
Prawns cooked in a delicate turmeric and coconut milk base- a Bengali dish
Veg option: Paneer Malai Curry

*Khare Masale ka Gosht
Lamb slow cooked with whole garam masala and dried red chillies
Veg option: Spiced Cauliflower Bhajji

*Bhopali Achaar Chicken
A unique dish that originated in the Palace of Bhopal. The chicken is marinated in yogurt and then cooked with green chillies and panch poran.
Veg option: Aloo Dam with panch poran

ACCOMPANIMENTS

*Puri (fried Indian bread)

*Saag paneer

Indian cheese with spinach
 

*Hyderabadi Dal
Tangy Tamarind lentils
 

*Kala Chana 

Black chickpeas cooked with ginger and green chillies

*Hyderabadi Mirchi ka salaan

A spicy onion and green chillies dish which is cooked with ground coconut, sesame seeds, peanuts and tamarind juice

DESSERT

*Shrikhand

A strained yogurt dessert from Gujarat with saffron, cardamom and pistachios

*Fruit Chaat

Fresh fruits marinated with Himalayan rock salt, lime and brown sugar

*First flush Darjeeling Tea
