Inspired by memories of the topsy-turvy world of the USSR, this is a delicious and humorous 21st century twist to the food from behind the ‘Iron Curtain’.

The dinner will consist of about 8-10 tapas-style dishes, such as (this may change):
Vodka and watermelon lollipops
Russian Revels pickles (including the illustrious golden gherkins)
Borsch-inspired tartlets

‘Bloody Mary’ 30 day aged beef
Potatoes baked in hay with a selection of fillings, eg home-made curd cheese and Georgian lobio (spicy bean and walnut dip)
Jars of summer peas with melted butter

Baltic truffles with sea buckthorn
Olympic Bear cake, one of our mother’s recipes served with very black Russian tea
Tickets are £38 (including all the food, a welcoming alcoholic treat and all the entertaining extras)
