This summer, FoodCycle are teaming up with Forgotten Feast and eco-chef Tom Hunt to create a sensational pop-up feast in the heart of London.
We will have a huge banquet at the Fleet River Bakery, home of FoodCycle's first ever cooking session back in 2009.
An unforgettable celebration of taste will be created using delicacies that would otherwise be forgotten. From wild foods and ugly vegetables to unusual cuts of meat and fish - and we can cater for veggies and meat-eaters alike.
Earlybird tickets are now on sale, proceeds from the event will go to FoodCycle and to creating other Forgotten Feast events. FoodCycle is a UK charity which combines volunteers, surplus food and spare kitchen spaces to create nutritious meals for people at risk from food poverty and social isolation.
FoodCycle’s Forgotten Feast
90% of our vegetables are kindly donated from companies due to a surplus, or simply just wonkiness in its appearance. Therefore our menu is subject to change.
Canapes
Beetroot hummus with mis-fit crudites
Gildas - skewers of chorizo, anchovy, courgette and tomato
Babaganush and flat bread
Starter
Foraged salad with sea urchin dressing and sourdough croutons

Foraged salad with broad beans and sourdough croutons
The Feast
Rolled pig’s head porchetta with wild horseradish and rocket
Salted pouting fillets with butter and sorrel
Caramelised beetroot with pak choi, sesame seeds, labneh and cumin
Wild and red rice with pistachio nuts, green beans, preserved lemon and coriander
Grilled aubergine, courgettes and radicchio with oregano and crispy garlic
Dessert
Chocolate torte with raspberries and mint granita
