Before taking a short break over Easter, I'm bringing you a night of 'Pork-Free' Supperclub.
That’s right Folks! No pig will be harmed in the making of this. Hurrah!!
There might not be any piggy, but feared not! Ox Cheek rendang is still on the menu alongside with two of my all time fav dishes - The Almighty Penang Asam Laksa and the Scrumptious Nasi lemak!
So come and join me for this one night only ‘Free The Pigs’ event!
On the menu:
Achar (Nyonya veggie pickles with spice paste)
Otak Otak (BBQ Spicy fish paste in banana leaves)
Penang Asam Laksa (Nyonya Spicy and tangy noodles in fish broth)
Ox Cheek Rendang (Slow cooked beef in spice paste and coconut milk)
Kari Ayam (Nyonya Fragrant Chicken Curry)
Nasi Lemak (Coconut rice with crispy anchovies, peanuts and chilli sambal)
.....plus a few Nyonya kuihs/puddings to round things off.
This is a BYOB event so feel free to bring along any drinks that tickle your fancy.
Expect loads of food and do come hungry...you have been warned.
