As part of the week long Mallorcan food festival, Catalan Cooking is teaching a special Mallorcan food class.
While Mallorca is a well known holiday destination for British people, it's food isn't, this class will show you how to make some of the emblematic dishes of Mallorca.
We will make:
Tumbet - mallorcan style rataouille
Arros Brut - Mallorcan 'paella' with meat
porc amb ceba - pork cooked with onions
calamar mallorqui - squid cooked mallorcan style (stuffed with, among other things, raisins)
Gato mallorqui - Mallorcan almond cake (naturally gluten free)
Mallorcan wine will be served to accompany your food as well as aperitivos from the beginning to make sure you're not starving while cooking.
The class is completely hands on where you cook everything. The cost is £70, the maximum number in the class is 8 and is held at Arch 76, Druid Street, London SE1
