Continuing the William Morris Tea Room's "Waste Not Want Not" June series of events.

Wile away your evening at a pop-up bar with sensational grazing plates that celebrate the very best of fresh British produce.

Relax as the sun sets over gorgeous park views in this glass-fronted extension of the William Morris Gallery.

Your ticket will be redeemable against food and drink on the night, and you'll be welcome to buy more of whatever takes your fancy.

There'll be a fresh menu each week, and no shortage of new flavours to try. See below for details.

A limited number of tickets will be reserved for entry on the door.

Week 1: June 15

Meat
Chicken liver parfait, crisp walnut bread & parsley shoots, £6.50
Roasted beef chipolatas, Worcestershire glaze, roast onion purée, £5.50

Fish
Pollock fish fingers, mash, baked beans, £6.50
Hand picked Selsey crab, saffron, pickled fennel, watercress, toasted rye bread, £7.50

Vegetarian
Griddled English asparagus, mustard & toasted yarg breadcrumbs, truffle emulsion, £7.50
Salad of summer vegetables, garlic croutons, creamy artichoke dressing, £5.50

Week 2: June 22
Meat
Smoked chicken, tarragon & aged cheddar croquettes, tomato jam, £6.50
Confit of rare breed pork belly with rosemary scented cannellini beans, £7.50

Fish
Curry spice dusted whitebait, pickled lime mayo, £5.50
Home cured & seared salmon, potato crumpet, warm lemon butter, sea purslane, £7.50

Vegetarian
Welsh rarebit baked portobello mushrooms, £5.50
Slow roasted heritage tomatoes on toast, basil & goats curd, £6.50

Yummy grazing plates

Or English tapas as we started calling it. Lovely, lovely food - you'd pay twice the price at some bijou bistroette - very tasty, inventive combinations and beautifully presented. And the cocktails were good too. Great setting in the William Morris Gallery overlooking the park. There's another one next Saturday 22nd - highly recommended you go.
