The Tea Room is taking advantage of the William Morris Gallery's gorgeous, glass-roofed orangery extension to serve up some two course delights all winter. These will celebrate Morris' ethos of sharing, beauty and community, as well as his passion for artisanal techniques.

Sit at the Long Table each month as chef Matt Byne serves up meticulously prepared treats using the best of modern techniques and where taste is king. We'll also showcase a different microbrewer each month so you can wash down all that lovely food in style.

A night at the Museum

Were very excited about going to the long table event and my two guests and myself were not disappointed. The table layout was simple horseshoe shape quite snug but not uncomfortable and you sat where you wanted with other guests. The staff were welcoming and there was plenty of time before dinner and between courses to view The William Morris Gallery it was like being at a private viewing. The food was delicious and well presented. The pudding was awesome so good we had seconds. It was a lovely evening, nice to meet new people. Included we had a choice of craft beers. For other drinks it was easy to order from the bar, the wine list had good wine which we enjoyed with our pudding especially.
