A new dish for the next pop up of Monohon Ramen!
Our next pop up will take place on Friday 13th November at Toconoco cafe and we'll debut our new Kotteri Miso Ramen!
Originally from snowy Sapporo, Kotteri (rich) Miso Ramen is made with a creamy 'paitan’ broth instead of the more common 'chintan' (clear broth). For this special night, we'll fry roughly chopped vegetables, mince pork, ginger and garlic until fragrant. We then whisk in a blend of miso pastes and our own hot ‘paitan’ broth. It is served over thicker noodles than those you get with Tonkotsu - all made in house. The locals also like to add sweet corn and a small piece of butter on top. Imagine the butter melting in the creamy soup!
Our usual favourites of Shio or Shoyu Tonkosu are also available for the night. A side dish of edamame will be served while we make your ramen. Oolong tea and extra ramen toppings can be brought for cash only on the night.
Open from 6.45pm, last order 9.15pm.
