For this special evening in support of Action Against Hunger, the theme will be 'Sharing' - that is the courses chosen will reflect the Vietnamese (and Asian in general) tradition of sharing food over a communal dinner. The food chosen will be dishes that we eat at home when everyone gets together for a family meal.
Your £10 deposit will go towards some of the costs with the remainder of the ticket price (£20) donated to Action Against Hunger on the night.
- Welcome cocktail and nibblies
- Goi ca (rice paper rolls with marinated fish - you'll learn to roll the rice paper like a pro)
Mains (served with rice):
- Thit kho heo (braised 5 spice pork with fried egg)
- Goi ga (chicken, hot mint & banana blossom salad)
- Ga nuong (bbq grilled spiced chicken)
- Coconcut panacotta

What a wonderful supper club!

Damon and MJ are very tasteful, welcoming hosts who put a lot of effort into creating a wonderful evening for their guests. Their living room is stylish and pleasant to sit in, and the dishes are all presented in an elegant way. MJ explains what each dish is so that diners can learn something about Vietnamese cuisine. Damon's in the back preparing the food, but as soon as the dinner is over both mingle with the diners to exchange foodie experiences and have a chat, and it feels like spening a cozy evening at a friends' place.
But more importantly, the food is absolutely delicious! The dishes Damon served were better than anything I have had so far in Vietnamese restaurants. All dishes were very fresh and healthy, and even though Damon served a lot of food and made sure noone would leave hungry, I never felt stuffed. And as someone who likes to discover new foods, I was very happy to taste Bethel leave for the first time, which tasted fantastic with the fish tartare. Damon's panna cotta is to die for, so in case that's on the menu make sure you have a little room left for it at the end of the meal.
The welcome cocktail was so appreciated that Damon made bottle after bottle of it after dinner for us to enjoy (I wish I could remember what the ingredients were!).
A great supper club, they do everything right!
