I grew up in San Diego, California. I met my English husband in Paris and so, well, here I am in London with a husband, and son and daughter.
I've always loved to bake, love transforming the ingredients, love the aromas that fill the house. When my daughter's husband was diagnosed as coeliac, we started exploring non-wheat based flours. More baking!
My two children have grown and gone, but my daughter and I like to hang out when we can, or sneak away for the odd lunch or tea together. I thought it would be fun to offer other mothers and daughters a chance to come and enjoy a lazy Saturday afternoon tea. I think you will enjoy my decadent treats - traditional finger sandwiches with freshly baked homemade bread, scones with Cornish clotted cream and a selection of hand made cakes and pastries - all happens to be gluten free!
And to start the afternoon - a complementary glass of Prosecco.
